Inktober 2019

For this Inktober, I decided to roll up another 31 random race/theme/class combinations, using races from Alien Archives 2 and 3 (except ones I'd already drawn), and including the three new classes for the Character Operations Manual, the Biohacker, Vanguard, and Witchwarper.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder dromada spacefarer biohacker

For Day 1, we have a Dromada Spacefarer Biohacker. Dromada are skittish herd animals with independent eyes. Why would they ever have both eyes focused on soemthing that wasn't an immediate danger, I figured?

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder izalgun ace pilot vanguard

The advantage to having four arms is that you can fight and drive!

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder ijtikri paranormal_investigator mechanic

This delightful lady is constantly looking for new chances to find and talk to ghosts. Though her methods are generally considered dubious at best.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder spathinae roboticist soldier

The Spathinae are aggregate colonies of smaller insectoid creatures, with their combined minds creating a single, sapient consciousness.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder tiefling corporate agent mystic

"People say the devil's in the details. Few people expect their details to contain the work of actual devils, though."

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder kanabo biotechnician biohacker

Kanabo are the product of interbreeding between Oni and Hobgoblins, and tend towards evil. So I figured a mad geneticist would be a good fit here.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder orc mercenary vanguard

Now here is a tough customer. He looks pretty capable though. Might be a bit pricey.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder cephalume tempered pilgrim soldier

Looks like this cephalume has taken a shine to certain kasatha traditions on their travels.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder aasimar cyberborn mystic

I'd say this lady has a rather... disarming sort of charm about her.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder dirindi death-touched technomancer

"And when the Eoxian guy's racer hit me, I got thrown ten - no, twenty feet clear in the air! Almost killed me!"

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder uplifted bear icon operative

This femme fatale has had a lot of work done to appear as humanoid as possible. She's even spent money on a speech-capable larynx and a lot of speech therapy, so she can audibly speak unlike most uplifted bears.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder morlamaw priest envoy

This genial, grandfatherly gentleman is a diplomat from one of the Morlamaw's undersea trench cities. He's a stickler for the rules and schedule, but it's hard not to like him at least a little.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder ghoran bounty hunter biohacker

A consummate professional, this leafling tracks his targets using a DNA-sniffing technology he invented, then takes them in alive with individually-tailored sedatives.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder hanakan tempered pilgrim mystic

Hanakans do not like or trust technology of any sort. This one's trying though, at least...

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder hortus cultist vanguard

The hortus are mushroom folk who are able to manipulate the atmosphere around them. This guy seems to prefer making it rather poisonous...

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder varculak outlaw operative

Varculak are a special kind of undead that are born of an intense desire not to die, and usually have a lot of passion and anger that fuels them. This one... best not to cross her, lest she turns that ire on you.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder hobgoblin dragonblood operative

Only a master of the arts of a black dragon can execute the kinds of cruel, precise assassinations that this lady does.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder osharu space_pirate mechanic

"Oh, you won't find a better engineer in the Diaspora. Just uh, watch his temper. The last person he saw as a problem to fix only just learned how to count to ten again."

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder quorlu bounty hunter operative

Quorlus are very strange critters. They're basically silicon-based magma snails, with odd numbers of limbs.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder phentomite icon solarian

Starfall was a... controversial movie. Most people dismissed it as a goofy action flick, but some Phentomites saw it as a gross appropriation of their culture.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder pahtra cultist witchwarper

"I have peered beyond the veil between worlds. What rules there is... more beautiful and terrible than anything that claims to rule here. And now, I am its voice."

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder embri ace pilot envoy

Embri are molluscine creatures with an incredibly strict social order, who tie a lot of their identities into their masks. This one might be a bit of a rebel, though they're excrutiatingly precise and insist on a rigid schedule in their life.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder espraksa dream prophet soldier

This devout fellow trusts in his faith as much as his armour, rushing into battle with a plasma scythe screaming prayers to Weydan.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder vlaka dragonblood mystic

Vlaka are typically born either blind or deaf, though they make up for this with incredibly sharp other senses. This particular fellow certainly doesn't let his lack of sight diminish his love of treasure.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder bolida xenoarchaeologist solarian

"Now, this is an ancient dialect, and the tablet's broken, so keep that in mind... this says the people will either 'suffer horribly', or... 'eat fruit'. Depends what this glyph means."

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder damai gladiator mechanic

Despite having only a short career in the arena, Varal "Wild Kyokor" Eskando earned himself a die-hard following for his unbridled enthusiasm and use of clever hidden gadgets in his fights.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder brenneri corporate agen witchwarper

"Oh, I can assure you, as a trustworthy friend, that this contract follows all relevant laws; local, interstellar, galactic, and even a couple of multiversal ones."

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder raxilite spacefarer soldier

Raxilites are, so far, the only Tiny playable race. However, their Lifting Floret Activation Network (LFAN) implants let them use one-handed items with ease!

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder dessamar imago xenoarchaeologist technomancer

Nobody really takes this guy seriously. He's a little too obsessed with ancient lighting technology.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder shakalta scholar envoy

Shakaltas are energy-based beings comprised of two bonded souls that share a body. This guy's other half is probably bored to tears with all the studying, though.

toasterpip inktober 2019 starfinder shatori gladiator witchwarper

And to finish it up, something appropriately spooky! The Shatori are the survivors of their own hubris, and due to desperate rushing a stasis plane, ended up saturated in the energies of Pharasma's Boneyard.
